There was adventure in the great wide somewhere...it was shining, shimmering, splendid...and it took us to infinity and beyond. We knew that what lay just beyond the river bend was the dreams and wishes our hearts made upon the second star to the right...and that even we poor unfortunate souls could find our way and go the distance, with no worries for the rest of our days.
 
And then some fucker told us to grow up...and ruined it. The bastards took our tuppence, spat in our bean curd and threw off our groove, hurling us into adulthood and responsibility and dishonoring our cows (among other things).
 
But this May, the Black Family and their associates take it back to basics...in a journey to the past set to kick you right in the childhood.
 
With live Disney-inspired, motivated and mangled performances by the Burlesque Underground’s darkest and most depraved denizens, plus an exclusive after-party where you can join in the fun and rub shoulders with the Australian burlesque industry’s most notorious family, Underground Disney is an evening of adult entertainment laced with childhood fancy, morally bankrupt melodrama and twisted black comedy tributes that will leave you wondering where your conscience got to.
 
So bat your eyes, pucker up your lips and get set to reach for the sky. Or head for the bar.
